How to measure an Entry Door .
- Fits Inswing Doors-- Your door must be an inswing door, meaning that it opens into your house.
- Square Corners -- Check all four corners for square. If your door frame and exterior trim are more than 1/4" out of square, the Retractable Screen will not install or function properly.
- Measure Width -- Measure from inside of exterior trim to inside of exterior trim. Unit fits single doors up to 36" wide. For double doors up to 72" wide, two units must be used.
- Measure Height -- Height from bottom of exterior trim to bottom of
door sill must be between 80 ¾" to 81 ¼" for the
standard screen, 96 ¾" to 97 ¼" for the 8ft. screen.
